1000ml Blow Mold

Product Overview

Every unplanned stop on a high-speed filling line has a cost attached to it. Maintenance teams know this. Production managers know this. What is less often discussed is how much of that downtime originates not from the blow molding machine itself, but from the mold inside it — thermal inconsistency forcing extended cooling cycles, worn cavity surfaces increasing rejection rates, or fitment issues that complicate changeover. BJY designs the ø124×381.2 blow mold for 1000ml bottles with these operational realities as the starting brief, not an afterthought.

    Operational Efficiency Features

Thermal management begins with material choice. Extruded aluminum rods carry heat away from the cavity wall faster and more evenly than cast aluminum because the extrusion process eliminates the internal porosity that acts as a thermal barrier in cast material. The outcome in practice: tighter control over bottle wall thickness distribution per cycle, less variation in preform stretch behavior between cavities, and the ability to maintain consistent output rates over a full production shift without heat accumulation degrading bottle quality toward the end of the run.

The hard anodized cavity surface reduces friction during bottle release. A smoother, harder surface means the formed bottle exits the cavity cleanly without drag marks or partial contact adhesion — both of which cause downstream issues on the inspection and filling conveyors. Reduced surface friction also means less particulate generation inside the mold cavity, which is relevant on aseptic lines where airborne contamination is a controlled variable.

  • BJY engineers the internal cooling channel routing of each mold to match the cooling capacity of the specific machine the client operates. Water flow rate, inlet temperature, and channel cross-section are factored into the layout design — rather than using a generic pattern that may create uneven temperature zones across the cavity height.

    Application Scope

Suited for continuous high-speed operation on 1000ml aseptic filling lines. Product types include bottled water, ready-to-drink juices, UHT dairy beverages, sports drinks, and functional beverages. The mold geometry is compatible with standard neck finishes used across major filling and capping equipment platforms.

    Why Choose BJY

Production targets are measured in bottles per hour and OEE percentage. BJY molds are configured around those metrics — not around what is easiest to manufacture. Clients supply the machine brand and production speed requirement; BJY returns a mold that is engineered to run at that speed without thermal or geometric compromise. Trial support and technical documentation are included in every project scope. BJY has been manufacturing precision blow molds since 2011, with every project scoped around the client’s specific equipment and production requirements.
