PET Blow Molds for Bestcrown

Product Overview

This series of PET blow molds is specially developed for Bestcrown rotary automatic blow molding machines, using the industry-standard 135 mm × 368 mm mold shell dimensions. The mold body is machined from high-strength imported solid aluminum bars, eliminating the internal porosity found in cast components and providing excellent thermal conductivity and structural stability under high-speed operating conditions of thousands of bottles per hour. The surface is treated with hard anodizing, significantly improving wear resistance. It is an ideal choice for beverage production plants looking to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and bottle forming quality.

In PET bottle production, mold cooling has a direct effect on the stability of the blowing process. Our 135*368 mm PET blow mold is designed for Bestcrown rotary blow molding machines, with particular attention to cooling performance, mold stability, and consistent bottle forming. As production speeds increase, keeping the mold temperature under control becomes increasingly important. At BJY, we address this through practical mold design, precision machining, and carefully arranged cooling channels.

During the stretch-blow process, the preform is placed into the mold cavity and expanded against the cooled mold surface by high-pressure air. The mold therefore needs to remove heat effectively while keeping the temperature reasonably consistent across the cavity. BJY molds are designed with internal cooling channels positioned according to the shape and structure of the bottle. These channels help cooling water reach areas that can be more difficult to cool, such as the bottle base and neck. Compared with simple straight-drilled passages, a more carefully arranged cooling circuit can provide more consistent cooling across the mold. This helps maintain stable forming conditions and supports consistent bottle appearance and dimensions.

  • Material selection is another important part of the mold design. For our Bestcrown molds, BJY uses solid aluminum material for the main mold body. The material provides good thermal conductivity while maintaining the strength required for repeated production cycles. Combined with precision machining, the solid aluminum construction helps the mold maintain its dimensional accuracy during continuous operation.

Cooling performance also depends on the conditions of the complete blowing system, not only the mold itself. For this reason, the BJY technical team can review cooling-water flow and connection requirements according to the machine and mold configuration. This allows the cooling system to be matched more appropriately with the mold and helps operators maintain stable production conditions.

Rather than relying on a single performance figure, BJY focuses on the factors that affect thermal stability during actual production: cooling-channel layout, material selection, machining accuracy, and the connection between the mold and the blowing machine. The mold interfaces, including air and water connections, are checked during the production and inspection process to ensure they match the specified Bestcrown machine configuration.

For beverage plants using Bestcrown rotary blow molding systems, effective mold cooling is an important part of maintaining consistent PET bottle production. By combining practical cooling-channel design with solid aluminum construction and precision machining, BJY provides blow molds designed to support stable operation and consistent bottle quality.
