BJY 51.2*166 Take-out Plate

Product Introduction: Technical Brief

During the PET injection molding process, thermal management during the post-mold cooling stage is a major bottleneck in reducing injection cycle time. Our 51.2 × 166 Take-out Tube is designed to reduce heat exchange resistance.

Robotic take-out arms in modern PET systems represent some of the fastest automation in the packaging industry. When a robotic plate accelerates at 12G, the inertial load on the take-out plate is immense. The BJY 51.2*166 Take-out Plate is specifically engineered to address the physics of this motion. The reliability of the entire line rests on the ability of this component to maintain a vacuum seal under high dynamic stress. If the seal fails, a preform drops, the machine crashes, and the resulting downtime can cost thousands of dollars per hour.

  • The engineering of the 51.2*166 tube starts with the vacuum seal interface. We don’t just machine a hole; we engineer a pressure-sealing landing zone. By utilizing high-precision CNC centers, we ensure that the concentricity and flatness of the seal face are kept within a 0.01mm deviation. This level of precision is necessary because any air bypass—no matter how small—weakens the suction force. In high-speed beverage production, where cycle times are under 10 seconds, there is no margin for error. Our internal vacuum channels are polished to a mirror finish to prevent the accumulation of PET dust, which is a leading cause of intermittent suction failure in beverage plants.

Material density and weight are equally important. We use 6061A aluminum to achieve the necessary strength while keeping the mass as low as possible. A lighter take-out plate reduces the load on the robot’s servo motors and prevents the resonance vibrations that can lead to neck deformation in soft preforms. We also apply a MIL-SPEC hard anodizing treatment. This ceramic-like layer has a surface hardness , protecting the tube from the abrasive friction of high-speed preform insertion. This ensures that the vacuum seal surface does not pit or scratch over time, maintaining ‘day-one’ suction performance through millions of cycles.

  • For technical customers, the BJY 51.2*166 tube is a solution for operational stability. We understand that a beverage factory is a harsh environment with varying water pressures and high humidity. Our tubes are pressure-tested to 6 bar to ensure no internal leakage into the vacuum system. By choosing a component engineered for the actual stresses of the factory floor, you are investing in the stability of your production output and the long-term health of your robotic assets.
