BJY at CHINAPLAS 2026
CHINAPLAS 2026 will take place in Shanghai from April 21 to 24. In the plastics industry, it is a show that many people already know well. It is often mentioned together with the K Show.
For BJY, this year feels different, mainly because the role has changed.
In previous years, the team usually walked the exhibition as visitors. This time, the work is more on the preparation side — molds, samples, and technical details that need to be shown directly.

The company has been focusing on PET bottle molds since 2011. The workshop is over 4,000 square meters, with around 30 to 40 CNC machines running daily. Most of the work has been export projects, so different machine standards and requirements come up quite often.
Inside the factory, project discussions are usually very direct. A customer may first mention the machine brand, sometimes even before anything else. After that, details like cavity number, preform weight, and bottle type follow naturally. Hot-fill or cold-fill is also something that gets confirmed early.
These are not complicated questions, but they decide a lot of things later — especially for mold structure and cooling.
Customers tend to focus on a few key points. Lead time is always one. Another question comes up quite often: whether the mold can run on existing machines. Husky, SIPA, Netstal, and Krones are names that appear again and again in these conversations.
At this exhibition, BJY will bring several types of molds, including preform molds, blow molds, and cap molds, together with some spare parts used in production lines. Some samples are standard, while others come from actual projects that were recently completed.
At the booth, engineers will be there throughout the show. In many cases, discussions don’t take long — a few questions, a quick explanation, sometimes even a sketch is enough to get the idea across.
