Functional Principle
The core’s operation is a study in efficient energy transfer. Positioned within the extraction tube plate, it forms a dedicated conduit for heat exchange. As coolant moves through its internal passages, the aluminum body actively draws thermal energy from the plastic surrounding the neck ring. This controlled and consistent heat removal is what enables the polymer to set correctly, directly influencing cycle time efficiency and the final geometry of every preform.
